My name is Ruth Ann Collins.   I am the Supervisor of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant District wide, and I work in Special Education.   I have been in education for several years.  I have my Administrative Licensures for Principal K-12, and Director of Special Education, and Licensures in Special Education EC-MS and Elementary Education, Pre-K -6.

My professional career in Education has given me the opportunity for growth as a continuous learner, while reminding me at the same time, how strong the individual student becomes in their learning environment and community with excellant instructional curriculum, and enrichment activities.  The 21st CCLC grant (State and Federal grant from title IV, Part B of NCLB legislation) funds the after school program, Kids Connection in the Community in grades K-12.  We have built a community of partners and volunteers to provide enriching math, literacy, the arts, nutritional, and recreational curriculums, and youth leadership services in order to meet the  special interests of students into the After School programs.  I am very proud of this wonderful program/opportunity for the students in our Faribault Public Schools community.  The entire 21st CCLC staff appreciates the opportunity to be an integral part of expanding and enriching the minds of our students in a relaxed and safe  environment, during a vital time in their day, after school.

I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have regarding the 21st CCLC After School Programming.  I can be reached at the Faribault Public Schools, 507-333-6837.
