Faribault High school's Automotive program is NATEF approved. NATEF or National Automotive Technician Education Foundation is a sactioning body that looks at Facilities, Curriculum, Instructors, Advisory Boards and Administration. This is a very difficult process to get approval and keep renewal is required every 5 years. www.natef.org
Because we at Faribault have a NATEF accredidation, we are also an AYES school.
Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES) is a partnership among participating automotive manufacturers, participating dealerships, and select secondary automotive programs. It's designed to encourage young people to consider satisfying careers in retail automotive service, and prepare them for entry-level career positions or advanced studies in automotive technology. www.ayes.org
