I began my library career as the children's librarian at Buckham Memorial Library in Faribault. It all started with a few hand-sewn puppets! Who would've ever guessed a few bits of yarn and cloth could make such a difference! After the birth of my son, I accepted a position as media specialist at Kasson-Mantorville Middle and High school. We were on the cutting edge as the Internet and computers began making a real difference for students in education.
I was then fortunate enough to return as a media specialist to Faribault where I first fell in love with books as a child-at Jefferson Elementary School. Please feel free to visit us via the web or in person as we make the media center Jefferson's "Home Place" for our children and our families.
