This is my first year at Lincoln Elementary teaching 4th grade. I have worked in the district for three years and I have taught 2nd grade for two years prior to coming to Lincoln Elementary. I recieved my Elementary Education degree from Minnesota State Univeristy, Mankato. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from MSU, Mankato.
I spent the summer catching up with things I missed out on last summer with my wife and daughter. I was deployed with my National Guard unit from May 2011 to May 2012. We spent the summer fishing, biking, playing, and taking mini vacations. Along with my two year old daughter we decided to add a Shih Tzu named Dexter to our family. We have a great time playing and taking Dexter for walks. We will also be adding another child to our family in March 2013. We are excited and can't wait for the new addition to arrive.
In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing, watching movies, and going out to eat. I picked up a new hobby this spring. I bought my first motorcycle! It has been a fun and exciting experience learning to ride.
