Attended Minnesota State University- Mankato and Graduated with a B.S. in Ecology and in Environmental Science with a Minor in Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services along with Licensure in Life Science Teaching.
Master's in Education from Saint Mary's University.
Secretary and Board Member on the Minnesota Skydivers Club in Waseca, MN.
D Licensed USPA Skydiver, Coach, and Static Line Instructor.
I stay active with my two sons, Evan and Ian, by enjoying snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, biking, rollerblading, playing tennis, hiking, camping, canoeing, collecting rocks, and snowmobiling.
My favorite part about teaching is sharing the outdoors with students and having students learn from "doing" science, rather than just watching.
My best advice to you if you are in my class: PARTICIPATE :) and science will be fun and meaningful!
