Spanish

I currently teach Spanish I and III. This is my 7th year of teaching at FHS.
My road to teaching Spanish was not a direct one. In High School I studied
German and went on to major in International Relations and minor in German.
I also studied a little French and learned Hungarian while teaching English in
the Peace Corps in Hungary where I decided to go back to school for teaching
certifcation. I moved to southwest Minnesota where I completed my teaching
requirements and earned a Spanish major from Southwest State University.
My first three years of teaching were in Fulda, MN. In June 2009, I completed
my Masters in Education with an emphasis in classroom instruction from
Concordia University in St. Paul.
I am always trying to find new ways to enjoy Spanish and still enjoy
listening to and trying out my German whenever I can. I also like
reading, baking, watching movies, spending time with family and friends
and travelling.
Our next trip is to Costa Rica Spring 2012.
Meeting Monday Feb 6 at 5:30 in Rm D108
